We need your help!

10 Focus group volunteers needed to give feedback on a tobacco prevention advertisement campaign

Are you available Monday, November 3rd from 5:00 pm- 6:00 pm?

We will be giving $25 gift cards to our selected participants

What we are doing? The Department of Public Health will launch a campaign to educate San Franciscans about smoking and tobacco products and we need your feedback on the images and messages we will be using. The focus group will take no longer than an hour and you do not need to prepare anything.

Who do we need? We are searching for a variety of San Franciscans who can represent any of the following communities (extra points for people who represent more than one!):

Ethnicity

-Chinese (preferably speakers of English AND Chinese)

-Latinos (preferably speakers of English AND Spanish)

-African-Americans

Occupation

-Parents with young children or teens

-People with media experience

-Tech-savvy people

Age

-Seniors and/or people with disabilities

-Young people (both 12-17 as well as 18-24)

Identity

-LGBT people

-People who have limited reading ability

-People who represent the low income community

-Smokers and vapers

How you can participate. Submit the information from the attachment below to gary.wei@sfdph.org as soon as possible. We will let you know by October 30th if you have been selected for the focus group and will send you directions so you can attend on November 3rd.
