For the Love of the City – A play about city awareness (July 12-14th)

Each year, our Inspiring Young Emerging Leaders (I-YEL) develop a project that addresses an environmental or social issue. This year, our interns chose to do a play. They have written an entire script, memorized their lines, created their own props and costumes, and are ready to perform for an audience!

“Through the struggle of love, a girl and a boy from opposite tracks, discovers the true value of their city.”

The play, “For the Love of the City,” created by San Francisco is designed to explore issues affecting residents of San Francisco and to reveal highlights from the city. Themes such as local businesses and awareness of neighborhood parks are tackled in this theater production. This play will leave you with one question: “What does it mean to love your city?”

Join us as we address this question together as a community. Also, there will be opportunities to explore art pieces from local artists and win prizes sponsored by local businesses.

Play dates:
Friday, July 12th at 7pm
Saturday, July 13th at 7pm
Sunday, July 14th at 2pm

at Intersection for the Arts
925 Mission St, Suite 109
